7 Common Interview Questions and How to Handle!

As a student, interviews are nothing new, especially for students who like to join communities or organizations. Interviews are always one way to recruit new members in an organization, community, or internship and part-timer activities.

The next question that is always asked is strengths, for some people, sometimes they are embarrassed to mention them, even though strengths are one of the important parts highlighted in the interview.

In this question, you can answer with the skills you have, either hard skills or soft skills. You also mention the activities you do with the skills you have, and which are related to the position you are applying for.

3. Explain your weaknesses

Explaining weaknesses sometimes contradicts what you have explained in the strengths section or the story about yourself section. However, you still have to explain this, because the director wants to know what weaknesses you have and how you handle your weaknesses, so that they don't impact your work.

4. What do you know about the organization/company you are applying to

Before registering, of course you must already know about the organization or company to which you are applying. Here, you can learn about the company profile, vision and mission, goals, and activities that have been carried out by the company.

5. Why are you interested in applying here

This question will always be asked, what is your goal in applying to an organization or company. You must know the clear objectives of the application you are submitting, with reasons that are appropriate to the position you are applying for.

6. What can you give to this organization/company?

In this section you can explain the experiences you have gone through and the knowledge you have mastered. You can tell with confidence the background experience or knowledge that you have, which can be useful in developing or building an organization/company.

7. What will you do if you experience pressure?

You can tell how you handled the pressure you experienced in previous experiences. Pressure will of course be experienced by everyone, whether they join the organization or not, in this section you don't need to be afraid of being judged, because this question is asked to see how you control your emotions and feelings.
